Here are the answers to all the questions you guys asked me. Thanks to eveyone that participated!
How did you and the Mr. meet? / How did you guys meet?
Guy and I met in 1998. He is three years older than me and has a younger sister (precious Matthew’s mom) that I was good friends with. Her and I were very close and spent all our free time together and I was at her house constantly. So of course I meet her older brother at some point and fell deeply in love with him instantly, well in love in the 13 year-old girl sense. I told his sister and everyone else that I would marry him one day and guess what? I did.
Here is he way back then – how could I not just love him instantly?
What made you want to start a blog?
Back before anyone knew what the heck a blog was (about 5 years ago) my mom had one so I thought I needed one. No good reason really. I had no clue how to post a picture or do much of anything besides tell lame stories about my life. But I realized how much I adored those lame stories when that blog disappeared somehow. Then when I got engaged I started a new one.
How did you get into photography?
I always just loved beautiful photography and wanted so badly to be able to take my own since as far back as I can remember. I did the best I could on my point and shoot until I finally made the investment in a DSLR and my photos improved so much. Everyone should go get a DSLR!
What is your favorite thing in your house that brings a special touch?
This is a pretty hard question really. I don’t know that I have a favorite thing in my house. I can say that I love my comfy couch and our wedding album a lot. As far as a special touch goes, my dad handmade me a hope chest in 1994 when I was 10 years old that currently holds our wedding memories and one day when I have a baby it will go in the nursery.
What is your absolute favorite place to be?
My favorite place to be is underneath the sun with a body of water next to me or under me. I love just laying quietly soaking in the sun rays and smelling the water. Mmmm.
What is the best gift you’ve ever received?
So this may seem cliche but I would definitely have to say my engagement ring. Not just because it is the most valuable gift in terms of monetary value, but because of what it means. It really isn’t just a piece of jewelry for me. When my husband gave that to me it meant that he wanted to commit his life to me and love me forever and ever. That means a lot.
Babies?!
Babies, babies, babies… I’ve posted about this subject a decent amount. I want a baby NOW, I feel like I’m going to explode if I don’t get pregnant soon. It is an urge unlike no other that I cannot shake. Thus far, I have not been able to get pregnant al naturale and my husband thinks we ought to wait another year anyway. SO, for now I am baby less but I hope to be pregnant as soon as possible. I would like to have at least two but I would take as many as I am blessed with.
What is your favorite thing about being married?
I love being married so much, I’m not sure I can pick one thing. If I really had to narrow it down I would probably say having someone that loves and cares about you there all the time. Maybe it could get smothering some day (doubtful) but I really love knowing he will be there every single day. You have a constant friend.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love reading, especially anything by Nicholas Sparks – I’m reading The Guardian right now. I also really love photography, my dogs, karaoke, riding my scooter 🙂 and spending time with my friends and family. Oh! And I also really like to bake.
What is your absolute favorite food? / If you could choose one food that you could eat without consequences what would it be?
Hands down, Mexican food. I like most any mexican food but I’m totally obsessed with chicken and bean burritos and cheese sauce. It is totally unhealthy but soooo good. I’m drooling!
What is your favorite thing to do with your Mr. that doesn’t involve a ton of $$ and planning?
We watch tons of movies! We usually watch at least one a week, if not 2 or sometimes 3. We are major redbox fans and we take turns each time picking. However we do have a new fun hobby we do together which is riding. 🙂 He rides his motorcycle and I ride my scooter and I love it!
What is your biggest pet peeve?
The only one that immediately pops in my head is one that is office related. We have one bathroom in our small building and a certain someone(s) enjoys spending 30-45 minutes in there at a time. I end up getting SO angry because it is very frustrating waiting and waiting and waiting to use the bathroom.

So cute you’ve been in love since you were 13 🙂 My husband and I have been together since we were 12!
I hope you get a baby soon. I know the longing. We’re on 6 months of trying now when it took not even a month with our previous two. Waiting nearly kills!
