Brady,
I don’t know how I got so lucky to get such a snuggle bug for a baby. You are the sweetest thing. Most mornings you wake up early but are still sleepy so I grab you from your crib and bring you into bed with us. You instantly wrap your arms around my neck and lay your head on my shoulder or my chest and fall back asleep. Then throughout the day you will hug me and give me kisses ever so often for no reason. Talk about melting my heart.
You are without a doubt (for now) a mama’s boy. You are the kid that cries when their mom hops the baby gate to the other room and follows quickly when she heads to the bathroom. Of course I love that you are attached to me but sometimes I just can’t get to you and the whining can really get to a person. You are much too big for me to cart around on my hip all day.
You learned the word hot this month and you love to say it over and over. It is really precious because that was your Uncle Chase’s first word and I remember him saying it exactly like you do. Long and drawn out like a whisper “Hhhhhaaaa-tuh.”
We are getting ready for your very first birthday which I am avoiding really thinking about because wait a minute, didn’t I just write your first month recap? I swear I do not know where the time went. I mean, what have we been doing these last 11 months? I’m going to stop right there and leave all the mushy you’re such a big boy stuff for next month, although, there is no denying it. You are really becoming SUCH a big boy. I love you so much.
-Mama
