Stick to this plan to get $500 saved for Christmas in 5 months.
I swear Christmas sneaks up on me every year! We get busy with Halloween and pumpkin patches then the next thing you know it’s Thanksgiving and I’ve got a month to shop.
Each year I say I’ll do it differently, that I will start shopping early, that I’ll start a holiday gift fund… but alas, it sneaks up on me again.
Christmas Savings Challenge
I thought it would be helpful to start this Christmas Savings Challenge. If you find yourself in December frantically scrounging for money or using your credit cards, try this.
(And here are 20 real ways to make extra money for Christmas!)
This isn’t super easy, but that is why it’s a challenge. Plus, it’s only five months long and it will be totally worth it to have a big Christmas fund waiting for you when it’s time to shop. And when you shop online make sure you check EBATES every single time. It gives you a little cash back on the things you buy.
If you want to print this out and cross each week off as you go, you can download the printable here.
And while you’re at it, check out some of my other challenges like the 30 Day De-Clutter Challenge or my 30 Day Happiness Challenge! You should also check out Make Over Your Mornings if they are as crazy as mine were.
