Trick or treating on Halloween can be really scary for parents of kids with allergies. There is so much going into that bucket and you have to be really careful if your little one has a food allergy that they don’t sneak open a piece that isn’t safe for them.
We know that it’s up to mom and dad to explain the safety measures to little ones and to inspect their earnings (my kids don’t have food allergies and they still aren’t allowed to eat candy from strangers without me seeing it first) but if you’d like to make it easy on all of those parents, here is a list of allergy free Halloween candy.
All of these are safe for kids with nut, dairy and gluten allergies.
Dum Dum suckers
DOTS
Laffy Taffy
Pixy Stick
Haribo Gummy Bears
Jelly Beans
Hot Tamales
Mike & Ike’s
Nerds
Sour Patch Kids
Any kid will be excited to get these options! The mom and dad of the kiddos with allergies will thank you as they make their way through the basket and find these instead of things they unfortunately have to take away.
Happy Halloween!

This is a terrible advertisement label. My child has egg, dairy, gluten and nut allergies. Some of the candies on this list have EGG. I find it irresponsible to use the title “Completely allegry free”. Anaphylaxis is no joke, and sadly many allergens pose this threat. You should change the title!!!
