Eighty-four days remaining.
Its actually Thursday, shh, don’t tell anyone. I am updating while I have five seconds to breathe. About a week ago I offered to take on more recruiters since my work load was so small and I knew many other coordinators were overwhelmed. Well, wish granted. I only took on an additional two recruiters and I am completely swamped. I am trying my best to just keep my head above water, but there is never a moment that I don’t have something I could be doing. But that is how you prove yourself and get raises and promotions, right? I hope so.
This week I can think of nothing I have done in regards to wedding planning except figure the amount of money I have spent thus far. I am very proud of myself because that number is much lower than I expected and I definitely deserve a pat on the back. Also, this last Saturday our engagement was in the paper -very official.
I am going to force myself today to finish putting together the last few invitations I have so that I can take them to my mom’s to address. She has the most amazing handwriting and I really wanted them to look unique. I also need to purchase another two boxes of invites. I didn’t realize how difficult it would be tracking down addresses. I think I have almost all of them that I am going to get which is definitely not going to cut it. If anyone, friends or family, thinks that they might have some addresses or even email addresses that you haven’t already given me, please do.
Next week I get to pick up my dress and have my final fitting. Lord help me to please fit in it. Sarah and Julianne are going with me and mom should be meeting us there as well. I’m very excited to take it home with me and know that it is all taken care of and there is nothing more to do with the dress besides make sure Mosley doesn’t hike his leg on it. Wish me luck.
