This handprint reindeer (and footprint, too!) is one of the easiest holiday art projects you are going to find. It is SO simple! For toddlers, we know simple is best. 🙂
All you need to do is trace their hands and feet onto construction paper. For feet, we kept their shoes on. Mom or dad will need to cut the pieces out for them and then use tape or glue to paste it onto a separate sheet of paper. Hand the kids the eyes and nose and let them place them where they think they belong.
Handprint Reindeer Art
What you need:
- Construction paper
- Googley eyes
- Glue or tape
- Option: red pom pom for the nose
We did this as a fun early morning activity before nap time. This would also be fun to do with a group! With our little artists, it is wonderful to find a fun art project that can be done with little mess.
Liz is a just a mom trying to keep it real about how little she sleeps, how often she gets puked on and how much she loves them. You can find her here every day writing about real-mom moments.
