This month is Halle and Mosley’s birthday, they will be four years old. My first blog I made was at the time when Guy and I got them and its so sad that all of those little stories are gone now. Memories and stories are forgotten so much faster than we realize. I read old blog posts from our wedding planning that was just a few months ago and am shocked at how much I have already forgotten. People, I really urge you to keep some sort of journal or blog, you won’t regret it.
I think the reason why I cherish those early times with the dogs so much, is because it is also the time that Guy and my relationship shifted as well. When we got them we changed. I packed up my apartment and moved in with him and began the transition from dating and falling in love to becoming partners. We were crazy excited about these new puppies and had the best time playing with them, teaching them, loving them. It was one of the best times we’ve had.
We’ve grown up right along with the dogs. Where they’ve grown in size and personality, we have grown up into adults and have much more love and respect for each other. Their lives signify a lot in our own lives.
