Yesterday was amazing. Seeing my baby’s arms, legs, hands, tiny toes, belly… it was just surreal. The very best part? Finding out the gender, of course. I’m crazy excited that I finally can start making more purchases, buying outfits, planning the nursery and all of the other things I felt like I couldn’t do until I knew. Well now I know.
My mind is going a mile a minute with ideas and plans and things I want. I think I’ve asked my husband if we can paint, move furniture, decorate and fill the closet with outfits all in one day. Give me just one good reason why we can’t. Our baby is coming!
Guy and I are torturing our friends and family for the next two days by not telling them the gender. EVIL! The Internet convinced us that the best way to tell them was to have them all over at once and host a pink and blue reveal party. Genius, I think. Guests are to wear pink if their guess is girl and blue if their guess is boy, and when they simultaneously bit into a cupcake, they will find a pink or blue gumball. Surprise!
That’s the reason I cannot share with all of you quite yet, but I promise I will soon after the party.
