My kids love to jump. Into a pool, off of our couch, on a trampoline… they’re jumpers. Always have been.
I can’t believe it took me so long to try this place out, but last week we finally made our way to Sky Zone; a jumpers paradise with trampolines covering the entire place.
Yep, they were in Heaven! We started off by getting our tickets and putting on our special jumping socks (they have rubber traction on the bottom).
Then, we headed over to the freestyle jump area. This is the place you can go to just jump and have a fun time. I was surprised at just how big it was. I hoped in with the kids and was so out of breath within the first 5 minutes. It was an awesome workout for sure! My kids loved that they could just jump and run all over even jumping off the walls!
The next stop we made was at the foam zone – my daughter’s favorite part of the whole thing. Each lane has a small trampoline you can jump off of into a big pool of foam. You can practice your tricks or just belly flop right in.
The last stop was my son’s favorite – the sky slam – where you can practice your slam dunk skills. He could never quite get the slam dunk, but he made a lot of shots and spent quite a while trying.
There were three different lanes with higher and higher hoops so you can really challenge yourself.
The dodgeball section looked like a lot of fun and my son snuck in there for a few minutes with the older kids. Each locations activities vary and you can Find your local Sky Zone by clicking here.
We went on a Friday night and it was like a huge kid party, they even had a DJ! And you know what the best part is? They had a special section for the parents to hang out while their kids burned off all that extra energy. They even had massage chairs. We will definitely be going back and will be using this as a boredom buster all year long!
