I have so many things I feel like I’m just shrugging my shoulders and saying, eh, so what to lately. So, linking up with Shannon seems appropriate. 🙂
SO WHAT if
- I am not wrapping my head around this early Christmas everyone is getting into. People are putting up trees and decorating and wearing red waaaaay too early. And it’s not that I’m not in the spirit or a Scrooge or something. I’m really excited for Christmas, too, I just follow a certain schedule. Christmas is AFTER Thanksgiving.
- I haven’t ordered Christmas cards yet. I used to always fill them out ON Thanksgiving and considering that is tomorrow I won’t be doing that. I’ve been late the last few years but as long as I get them there by the 25th I feel ok about it.
- Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, I’m hosting, and I’m choosing TODAY to go to the grocery store. I did already pick up a turkey, but the majority of all the other things are being purchased today. And I’m taking two children with me. I see you rolling your eyes at me.
- I just dropped my MacBook on the floor. Oops.
- Our living room is trashed each and every day and I must clean it at least twice. It means we live here. It means we play.
- Brady has slept in our bed 4 out of the last 6 days. I love sleeping with him.
- I hate sleeping with Paityn. Different kid and different sleep patterns than Brady.
- I haven’t blogged much lately. My head has been too wrapped up in Newly Mommy. (First boxes ship out next week!!)
What are you all saying so what to this week? Hopefully someone out there agrees with this early Christmas thing.
Liz is a just a mom trying to keep it real about how little she sleeps, how often she gets puked on and how much she loves them. You can find her here every day writing about real-mom moments.

I am with you on people celebrating Christmas super early this year. I feel like it is getting pushed up and pushed up. Next year people will be decorating October 1…not cool. I have to admit we did put our tree up last night but thats only because my husband is traveling in December.

I feel the same way about the early Christmas stuff! So many of my FB friends have posted pictures of their trees, and I don’t even know what kind of tree we’re going to do this year! I feel like I’ve been slacking, and then I’m like, wait a minute- it’s not even Thankgiving yet!
