Last week, the morning radio show I listen to on the way to work sometimes mentioned an interesting study. They said that out of 1,000 kids surveyed, 100% of them said their mom was perfect. They also thought they were smarter than Albert Einstein. It’s funny because so often we think we are getting this whole parenting thing wrong – so wrong – but really, we’re actually doing it right. You know why? We’re not perfect, but we’re perfect for them.
One of my best bloggy friends, Lindsay, told me a few weeks ago that “God chose you as the mom for your babies. YOU are the best mom they could ever hope for.” And that really struck me because it is so true. And I needed to hear that. Out of all the people on this planet, I was chosen for them. That’s why they think we’re perfect, because we are a perfect fit for them.
This whole mom thing can be so challenging, but remember, you were the one chosen to watch over these precious babies. You were thought of to be the most capable. You were thought of to be the best.
You are not screwing it up.
Liz is a just a mom trying to keep it real about how little she sleeps, how often she gets puked on and how much she loves them. You can find her here every day writing about real-mom moments.

Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of
this blog. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to
get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual appeal.
I must say that you’ve done a great job with this.
Additionally, the blog loads super fast for me on Internet
explorer. Exceptional Blog!
