Love and Marriage

And A Baby Carriage.

Achoo!

brady

Oh my goodness.  What a week this has been.  If you follow me on twitter you know that I’ve been super ill this week with some sort of sinus issue.  I started antibiotics on Monday and STILL feel awful so I’m worried it is probably something viral which is the worst.  I’ve tried everything; neti pot, humidifier, hot showers, warm heat packs on my face, Excedrin, sinusalia, you name it.

I took a couple days of vacation at work to try and recuperate but I couldn’t get any time off from my other full-time job – mom.  My boss is relentless and could care less I don’t feel good.

Who me?
He still wants to eat, still wants to play, still wants his diaper changed, still wants mama to snuggle him – how rude?!   This is my first time being sick and being a mother and it is just as difficult as I imagined it would be.  Feeling under the weather is awful enough, but having a little one who depends on you (and will not let his father put him back to sleep when he gets up at night) makes the whole thing worse.  And to be honest I think it has a lot to do with how long it is taking me to shake this.  You can’t get well when your body doesn’t rest.
I’m back to work today, the work that gives me paychecks, and I’m hoping I’ll snap out of this illness asap.  Fingers crossed!

you’re right, being sick while having young kids just sucks. Logan just turned 7 and at the beginning of this month I was sick sick SICK… this is the first time in S.E.V.E.N. years that he understood to just leave me alone for as long as possible! Hope things look up for you soon and you get to feeling better!

You’ll most likely get more rest at work, haha. I wish you speedy recovery.
