Fourteen days remaining. (Happy 24th birthday to me!)
Remember that one time there were 98 days remaining and I was using descriptive words like, wow and so excited? I miss those days. Those days were a walk in the park. Now we are looking at TWO WEEKS, PEOPLE. And next week I’ll be saying, remember the time I had two weeks?
Today I ordered all of the plates, cups, napkins etc. from Leavenworth Paper Supply who had such great prices. Message to anyone getting married in the LV area: use them for your wedding, or reunion, or whatever. Party America and Oriental Trading Co. had the most ridiculous prices and even the bulk party stores on line were more expensive than them.
Other than that I’ve done a whole lot of nothing. I’ve got to get my butt in gear this week for sure. All of the small things I’ve been putting off because they are small are starting to add up. All I know is that I really want to avoid stress that last week, but we’ll see.
Also, today is my 24th birthday. Woo hoo! Thirty just keeps getting closer and closer… I specifically planned our wedding to be after my birthday because I am a bit superstitious and marriage statistics say that if both couples are over the age of 24 their marriage will last longer. All of the other statistics say we are doomed to fail. Parents still married? No. Have a bachelors degree? No. Go to church? No. So I’m hanging onto this one. Dumb or not, if I can do something that statistically increases our chances of making it, shouldn’t I do it? It’s the least I can do.
Happy Birthday to me!
