I would recommend not synthetic but natural pure wool filled nursing pillow. It has no synthetic content and doesn’t off-gass. It is a healthier choice for babies. You can get a very affordable all natural nursing pillow filled with nothing but real sheep’s wool (tiny bits of wool called wool bolas). Holly Lambs Organics also sells wool boppies but their price tag is much higher. The pillow has a zipper and you can remove the wool filling to make the pillow flatter/softer or add wool, other filling (kapok, cotton stuffing etc) to make the pillow higher/firmer. If you think the pillow is too thick to do tummy time, unzip both covers and remove part of the filling until the baby gets older. The pillow comes with a very soft cotton slipcover. It is also bigger than traditional Boppy brand pillows. You can order the pillow here: https://organic-comfort.com/index.php/product/natural-wool-nursing-pillow-positioner/
