A lot of people have been inspired by Mighty Girl to write their own list of the 100 things they want to do or accomplish before they die. I spent a day working on mine and I could only come up with 29 things. It is not easy to do. Here are mine – in no particular order.
1. Swim with dolphins
2. See the Eiffel tower
3. Cross the Canadian border
4. Have a baby
5. Ride a catamaran
6. Complete a triathlon
7. See Times Square
8. Zip line
9. Meet Christina Aguilera
10. Plant and grow an apple tree
11. Sing the national anthem at a professional sporting event
12. Get a meaningful tattoo
13. Take a hot air balloon ride
14. Learn to whistle
15. Fly a plane
16. Own a hot tub
17. Decorate my babies nursery
18. Record 1 song
19. Learn how to finally play my keyboard
20. Get a dirt bike – and know how to ride it
21. Finish my degree
22. Work from my home
23. Learn to cook and actually do it
24. Go ice skating with my husband
25. Give more compliments
26. Sit on a jury
27. Go to a concert
28. Take a family vacation once a year
29. Water ski
After looking at lots of these on the Internet, I noticed that I had already done several things that most had on their lists. I wasn’t sure whether I should add them to my list and immediately cross them off or not, and I decided not to. But I will make that into another, albeit short, list:
1. Live in another country
2. Sky dive
3. Parasail
4. Drive cross country (FL to CA)
5. Touch the southernmost point in the US
If I manage to complete any of these I will take a photo and post it under that corresponding number. What’s on your list?
