Pepper
Yesterday, Brady used his very own money to pick out a toy he had his eye on the last time we went grocery shopping. Â On the way out of the store, a huge rack of beanie babies caught his eye, specifically a little kitty cat. Â I told him that we already paid, so he would have to wait and he was ok with that. Â But then I looked down a second later and he was carrying out of the store. Â Oops!
We put it back and I explained he could use his money to go back and get it another time, if he wanted to. Â He has saved up six whole dollars from not peeing his pants at Grandpa’s. Â (Grandpa is watching him during the day now and for a couple of weeks, if he made it a whole day without pottying in his pants he got a dollar. Â He has been potty-trained for almost 6 months now but he reverted back a bit.)
So I took him back yesterday and he immediately spotted the cat. Â I asked if he wanted to pick out something different and for a moment he reconsidered, but then decided on getting the cat. Â The tag says his name is Pepper.
He slept with it last night and it is sitting on his lap right now while he watches Daniel Tiger on TV.
