Printable Valentines – Love Is A Battlefield
It’s true you might have to play this Pat Benatar classic for them. I’m sure most of our kids have never heard it!
What you’ll need:
- Free printable (below)
- Cardstock
- An Army man (you can grab a huge bag of 144 for $7.25 on Amazon)
- Washi tape
Click here to download your free printable Valentines cards. This prints a four to a sheet.
All you have to do is download and print the cards, cut them, and tape the Army man on. Let your kids sign their name and then hand them out to their friends!
You can usually find a bag of Army men at your local dollar store for cheap. You might even find that this is less expensive than candy. I know a lot of parents appreciate non-candy treats for holidays, myself included.

Friends, these are adorable, so I hate to be the one to say it…. you can’t send them to a school. We have added our “dangerous someone” drill as something we practice monthly right along with a fire drill at the pre-kindergarten through 4th grade elementary school where I teach second grade. Schools are very sensitive about weapons and it will be your child’s teacher who has to make the uncomfortable call about whether or not s/he can our should send plastic men holding riffles home with every child.

I can’t get this printable to work. I can download it and it come up but when I go to print the preview shows a blank page……any way to fix this? I was so excited to send these to school with my son.

The way I fixed it was I clicked on the download link, then if you hover your mouse on the bottom of the page some icons show (they just kind of appear), click on the one with two papers and a circle type thing (no idea what to call it) and it will pull up the document in a different screen and you should have the ability to print from there. Hope that helps!

Oh wow, thx so much for the awesome prebianlts. The sayings are both great but think I like the “middle” one for all outstanding fonts and colors but like the saying on the first one. My husband and I met at a laundra mat/dry cleaners by Davis Monthan Air Force Base. I lost my job awhile after meeting him there and told a gal I’d met there if she ever saw him to let him know I was looking for him. That fall she called me to let me know she’d seen him and gave him my message. We got together a few days later and made a date. We went out Oct. 18, 1968 and got married Nov. 30, 1968, he for Vietnam on Dec. 26, 1968. He was in the JOlly Greens helicopter rescue and recovery. 43 yrs. later, alot of life lived and moves around the country and we’re still very much in love so the saying about love really hit home. Thks so much.
