(Currently) Obsessed: Pretty Paper

I easily become infatuated with things.  I’ll have an idea or a thought and latch on to it hard, but usually only for a moment.  My obsessions are fleeting and they change constantly.

I used to be hard on myself for not being more concrete, more solid, as if changing my hobbies made me some sort of internal drifter who couldn’t stick with anything.  And I suppose in actuality that argument could have some merit to it.  But now I embrace my inner gypsy.  It is what it is and as I approach 30 (holy cow, that makes me like, a grown up, huh?) I’ll call it growing, or learning or screw-it-i’m-just-wired-this-way.  Que sera sera.

I would venture to say that 95% of my life goes on exactly as it did the day before and the day before that.  So new ideas, hobbies, things to learn, things to do, they don’t make me crazy, albeit a little ADD, perhaps.

All this to say, what I’m obsessed with this week is pretty paper.

I used to sell prints on Etsy and maybe one day I’ll do it again if I have less irons in my proverbial fire.  I thought for a quick moment “Ohmygosh I love this so much I could write a whole blog about it!”  But quickly I dismissed that hair-brained idea.  I could, however, write a blog post about it.  And heck, for that matter, write about what my brain is tangled up with every week.

So, for the first installment of Obsessed, it’s my love for pretty paper.
