A quick update – hospital days 7 & 8

Just a quick update between showing love to some of my favorite Etsy shops… I had another sonogram this morning to check in on my cervix and it was a little bit shorter than last week.  That means there isn’t any hope of heading home for bed rest anytime soon… not that there was much hope anyway.  So I’m stuck at least another week and we will reevaluate again on Monday.

No more contractions and no more IV (woo hoo!) just a lot of sitting and thumb-twiddling.  I’m really getting annoyed sitting here everyday.  I don’t know how I’ll make it several more weeks if that is what ends up happening.  I made a spring wreath and I get to take a wheel-chair field trip and get some fresh air everyday.  The more things I can do with my time the better.

Tomorrow marks 25 weeks so that is one more we can check off the calendar.  Good work, baby girl.  Again, the big milestone is 28 weeks so I’m just trying to keep my mind focused on that, although 28 weeks seems like light-years away right now.
