Baby girl names!

baby fever

Anytime you post about babies and you aren’t preggy yet you must preface the post with an, “I Am Not Pregnant” disclaimer. So there it was.

I am so excited about pregnancy and am always paying attention to names in books, movies, life etc. I have a list that I keep and add to occasionally. In the boys column there is one single name listed because there is no doubt what we will name our baby boy. For the girls though, the list is extensive. I’ve paired them with middle names and, call me crazy, I think the list I have here is possibly the best list of baby girl names. Biased?

We are relatively certain we already know what we will use for our little girl one day because there is only ONE DAMN NAME that my husband likes. If you dare try to mention something else he rejects it before the last syllable is out of your mouth. So I thought I would be so kind to share with all of you my amazing list and offer them to you for a small fee. Or for free. We’ll go with free. Can you guess which one hubby is crazy over??

Vivien Rose is so pretty! I love that name. Husby is very particular about the names he likes too.

what pretty names! The hubby and I named all our kids on a road trip when we got stuck in traffic several years ago…to this day they haven’t changed! We are going to have to have at least 6-8 eights to use all the names though! HAH! 🙂

Pretty names. I know an Ada Joy and my grandma’s middle name is Ada so I’m particularly fond of that one. I also really love Reese! I love them all.

I loved the not pregnant disclaimer 😀

Also, I’m like you – I have tons of girls names and very few boys names. This may have to change though, since I am hoping to have a whole slew of boys someday.

I’m guessing your husband likes Norah Reese?

We’re the opposite. My husband and I can not agree on girls names!

You have such lovely names there.

I have no idea what your husband likes best, but I don’t think you can go wrong with that list. 🙂

Vivien Rose is absolutely pretty! So feminine. And guess what Hubs here, too is very finicky about the names we will pick for our girl(in future) (and yes a girl only 🙂

Those are very pretty names! I do feel compelled to mention that the unusual spellings may make it hard on your child, constantly having to spell her name . . . I’m a more traditionalist with my names, though. My two-year-old is Corinne Eleanor and my daughter due in January is Felicity Clare. Clare without an “i” because it’s after my grandmother and that’s how she spelled it. Just a thought!

Cute names! I know the feeling of needing a disclaimer… ever since I got married it seems people always want to jump to the conclusion that I’m pregnant! I too am thinking of baby names, although I’ve been doing that since I was in middle school. Haha.
