Do you know how hard it is to get a 10 month old to not only sit still and smile for a camera, but to wear a birthday hat at the same time? It’s hard. And for us, damn near impossible.
The picture that I ended up using for her birthday invitations was a snapshot a few minutes after I ditched the hat and called it quits. It’s a really sweet photo of her grinning at me, probably gloating from getting her way with the birthday hat.

Maybe next year I can get her to pose for me.
