Have you been saving up all of your Box Tops? I really love saving mine up and giving them to my local schools each year. There aren’t a lot of other ways to give to your community that are as easy as this!
Since I’ve usually got a few in a drawer here, some in a plastic baggie over there, and several sitting on the counter at any given moment, I decided to make a little container for all of them.
DIY Box Top Holder
It’s pretty simple – all you need is a plastic container, scissors and some duct tape. The container I used was a crayon box I grabbed in the office supplies section at WalMart. I like that the lid is secure but does come off for me to easily get to the coupons. If you are collecting a large amount of Box Tops (maybe at the office or in a classroom) you can do this same project with an index card box.
Since the plastic is really thick, I used a sharp knife to pierce the top first before using the scissors. Cut a whole about the width of a typical Box Top and then cover it with duct tape, cutting a thin slice in the tape for the coupon to fit in.
It’s so easy and it works really great! No more hunting all over to try and find all of my Box Tops to turn in because I now keep them all in one place.
