Hi. How was your Easter? Good? Good.
Ours was pretty good, too. I wanted to host a family brunch and egg hunt this year since last year I was in prison the hospital for Easter. So I made some quiche, banana bread and muffins and bought a cake and donuts. Yikes, that’s a lot of sugar now that I read it back.
Paityn has had some wicked congestion the last few days and it reached its peek on Sunday. The phlem just got to be too much and she started throwing it up. Gross. Between her vomiting on her Easter dress and Brady getting pee on his Easter shirt, I didn’t get any pictures of them all dressed up. They ended up in random mismatched outfits, but that’s ok. I’ll wash the clothes, redress the kiddos and take a picture later.
I’m not ready to be back at work today and I’m super tired from wiping Paityn’s nose and shoving her binky back in her mouth 1,359 times last night. But, it was a really good day with amazing weather and lots of hugs and kisses from my babies. At bed time last night, Brady climbed up next to me and wrapped his arms around my neck and told me he loved me then quietly said, “Happy Easter, Mommy.” And it was the sweetest thing EVER.
Now, if you’ll excuse me I’m on my way to the coffee machine.

Liz is a just a mom trying to keep it real about how little she sleeps, how often she gets puked on and how much she loves them. You can find her here every day writing about real-mom moments.
I appreciate you sharing this information. I’m excited to have found this amazing article.
