My Kids 5 Favorite Podcasts To Listen To When They’re Bored

I am a huge podcast fan. I absolutely love listening to them at home, while I’m working, cleaning, in the car, you name it.

Until recently I hadn’t explored kid podcasts. We started with the one listed first below and fell in love. We just took a long road trip to pick up our new puppy (you can see her over here) and these were amazing boredom busters.

5 Podcasts To Happily Occupy Your Kids In The Car

Eleanor Amplified

The story of a rocket ship headed for adventure hosted by a young radio reporter. She goes out to sea, to a jungle and into space. This is one of our favorites and is so much fun to listen to. This story goes in order, so make sure to start at the beginning.

Listen Out Loud with The Loud House

Do your kids watch The Loud House on Nickelodeon? Then they’ll love this one. Each episode, one of the Louds will take over to talk about something they love. Luna gives you a tour of her music studio and Luan teaches you the basics of pranking, etc. These are short and sweet, coming in at under 8 minutes each.

The Alien Adventures of Finn Caspian

This is another story that goes in order and follows an 8 year old boy, Finn, who is aboard a space station. They explore planets and aliens and is compared to a Scooby-Doo in space.

Stories Podcasts

Retelling of fun stories for kids. These are like miniature audiobooks and are roughly 15 to 20 minutes each.

Disney Story Central

All of your favorite Disney and Pixar stories! You can listen to the 10 minute version of Aladdin, Beauty and The Beast, Moana and all of your favorite Disney characters. This will surely be a favorite in your car.

This one quickly became my kids favorite as soon as we heard the first episode. The narrator tells Grimm Fairy Tale stories in a really captivating way.
