One of my favorite treats I remember as a kid were creamsicle popsicles. Do you remember those? They were orange and had cream inside and I loved them. I’m going to show you how you can make them yourself with a simple, two ingredient recipe.

When I stopped at the yogurt aisle of the store and saw that Yoplait® had an Orange Creme yogurt I had one of those light bulb moments. I wasn’t sure it would work out how I wanted, but I was going to give it a try.

Here’s what I did:

I grabbed a couple of the Yoplait® yogurts and a container of whipped topping. I poured the yogurt into a bowl and then scooped a few big dollops of whipped topping on top and mixed it together.

Then I poured them into my popsicle mold. (You can also use small paper cups with wooden popsicle sticks.)

Then I froze them.

Since the main ingredient is yogurt, it doesn’t slip right out of the mold as easily as a popsicle.  You need to run it under hot water for about a minute for the pops to come out properly.

So far, my plan had worked, but now it was time to test it. Would it actually taste like a Creamsicle?

YES. It totally did! And then the real stamp of approval came when Paityn Luella devoured it. Win!
