Fireproof
After reading Lindsey’s blog and hearing about the movie Fireproof I went out and rented it for Guy and I to watch. I absolutely fell in love with this movie. The acting? Not the best. But the message in the movie was so important.
“Marriage isn’t fireproof.”
“Fireproof doesn’t mean that the fire will never come. It means that when the fire comes, you will be able to withstand it.”
Every marriage will come across some fire. It’s inevidible. The problem is that so many aren’t equipped to put it out. It’s a cheesy phrase, I know, but is it not dead on?
