Forty-two days remaining.
Did you read what I just wrote? Forty-two days. That means our wedding is in SIX WEEKS. Time has flown by and it is almost finally here! I’m getting very anxious and cannot wait to put on my dress and walk down the aisle to my groom. I have never thought I would cry at my wedding but lately I’m a little nervous I’m going to loose it. Seeing weddings on TV has never affected me emotionally because I’ve never been able to really relate to what they are feeling. Now when I watch a wedding show or even look at photos of a bride walking down the aisle with her father by her side, I start to tear up. I’m finally getting the emotion side of it, and how moving it is, instead of just being really excited.
We revamped the reception table set up this week. It is the same as before, minus one table runner. We originally had two, and have dropped it to one. They are not simple to make and were very time consuming. Patti showed me the other option which I decided (with Ju’s help!) would be best. I was reminded not to sweat the small stuff, and table runners are definitely small stuff.
I think Sarah, Ju and I have everything all ready for my bridal shower next week. There are so many fun things you get to do when you get married; engagement party, showers, bachelorette parties… The shower is next Sunday and then the bachelorette party will be the 16th. If you haven’t RSVP’d to Sarah for the shower, please do. We may have a large group and I want to make room for all of you!
