Yesterday we had to celebrate Mother’s Day a bit early with one of my mother-in-law’s (Guy’s step-mom) because she is going out of town today. There just so happened though, to be a gift on the table for me as well, from a very special three-year old, Matthew.

Matthew gave me a nice candle holder set and some yummy smelling votives to go in them. But the best part? The card. And yes, he had some help writing his name.

I forgot to take a picture of the left side, but you can slightly see a little drawing poking out. It was a bunch of squiggles and Matthew said to me very matter-of-factly, “It’s a flag.” He is so funny.

    I am looking forward to Mother’s Day. We are planning to surprise my mom and grandma with a visit. We have not been up to my grandma’s in a couple of years because she has cats and my son is allergic to them. Hi from the SITStahood.
