Love and Marriage

And A Baby Carriage.

How we spend our days

mommyhood

3:20 am

Brady wakes up, cries, and instead of spending time getting him back to sleep I just cart him into our room and we snuggle.
7:45 am
Up for the day.  I change his diaper and make some breakfast.

Save

8:00 am
He doesn’t want the oatmeal.  The past few days he’s just wanted milk instead and then will eat later.  Milk it is.

While he drinks I do the dishes and clean up the kitchen.  I’m not usually this productive first thing but I’m expecting a visit from my mom bright and early so I need to pick up.  (She ended up not coming until the next day.)

8:28 am
A little play time.

Save

8:37 am
Time for me to grab a bite to eat and get my coffee.

Save

I break Brady’s cardinal rule: DON’T LEAVE ME ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE GATE.

Save

8:39
I eat and he steals a bite here and there while PBS kids plays in the background.
8:44 am
He starts work on a present just for me.

I take a video of him saying “thank you!” (you can watch it here)
9:21 am
I attempted to give him the oatmeal one last time but he refuses so he has a peanut-butter banana muffin.

Save

9:26 am
Fold more of yesterday’s laundry (I loathe folding) this load is baby clothes.
9:50 am

Should have waited a few more minutes, he makes another poo dipe for me.
11:14 am
Dad gets home for lunch.  I go to trade out cars at the dealership – we’ve been test driving a few.
12:01 pm
Husband and I eat a Sonic lunch and Brady decides to eat bread and goldfish.
