How To Make A School Memory Binder

This school memory binder has been one of the smartest things I have done! We’ve had so much paper clutter accumulating from our kids backpacks and this was the solution that worked best for us.

In my course, Decluttered, I talk about how much of a sentimental clutterer I am. Because of that, when my kids bring home artwork and even just scribbles on paper, I’m sad to throw it away. In fact, I WASN’T throwing it away. Instead it was piling up in every corner of the house.

After about the first grade I realized, what good is this? Why have all of these papers if they are just in piles? It would be better to save our favorites, things that are special, in a smart way. Doing that has given me the freedom to throw away the excess.

School Memory Binder

This way of keeping all your kids school papers (and photos, and art, and awards, and report cards, etc) is pretty simple. All you’ll need is a few things from the office supply section of your local store.

  • A binder (any size will do – I’m using a small one for now until we outgrow it)
  • Document protectors
  • These school binder printables (optional)

Each kiddo gets their own binder and you can keep everything nice and organized and protected. They will love being able to go back and flip through the pages looking at there old memories! I so wish I had one of these from when I was a kid!

These printables make the whole thing super easy. Each grade (Preschool-Senior year) has a place to put their school photo and fill out their favorite color and special memories, etc. The cover has an editable file so you can customize it with your little ones name.

This is going to make life this school year so much easier and I am vowing to not keep every.single.piece of paper they bring home. These will be so sweet to have in the years to come!

Where is dad? No mention or inclusion of father figures. Too bad. If we want dads involved in their children’s lives, we should include them in all things familial.

It’s a school binder. It doesn’t mention mom either, because it is about SCHOOL. You are manufacturing a problem where one doesn’t exist.

Seriously?? It’s a keepsake. It’s supposed to be about school that’s the whole purpose. And if you think about it maybe “MOM” put it together. I personally don’t see a problem. It’s an awesome idea.

Any ideas on how I can get mine to print as it appears in Photoshop? The colors printed out do not match the screen.

How do I change the name on the binder cover? It opens in something called SketchBook and I can’t for the life of me figure out how to do it!

The printables are yours forever – you can print as many times as you’d like.

Does the psd file only have the front cover available to edit? Just wanting to make sure I’m not missing anything.

I would like a refund as these links did not pull up to print! Thought there was a lot more to it than just a couple words on each page as well Definitely not what I expected. I would prefer a refund instead!! Thanks

Hi. I can only use my printer on my hotspot so I can only print items I can download. If I buy this can I download it?

For me this was also a problem because I didn’t have time to do this at all and having memory from school/college, this was solved when I started using this source https://edubirdie.com/college-papers-for-sale papers for sale was one of my most successful experiments because after I started using this I started going out with friends more often, taking more days off when I can just sit and do nothing, I found work and in general now my life is much better than before.
