How To Make Snowman Crayons

christmas

Today I’m sharing a fun and festive winter craft!  Brady and I had a lot of fun making these snowman crayons.

This is such a great craft because we always have tons of broken crayons laying around that need new life and because you can do this for any holiday.  All you have to do is make one simple adjustment and it goes from a winter craft to a summer craft.

Snowman Crayons

The first thing you need to is grab all of your broken crayons and chop them up into small pieces.  Obviously, this part of the process is for an adult to complete.

Then, your little one can place them inside of a silicone muffin tray in whatever sort of pattern they want.  You could take all of your different shades of blues and make them in one fun blue swirl crayon!  Brady decided to make some multi-colored crayons.

Place in the tray in the oven on 350 degrees and let it bake for about 10 minutes.  Keep a close eye on it because the amount of time it takes depends on how thick you made the crayon.  Once the crayons have melted completely they are ready to come out.  Wait for them to harden and pop them out!

Aren’t they adorable?  There are lots of different ways you can create these – try different color combos and different shapes.  Happy crafting!
