Love and Marriage

And A Baby Carriage.

My Girl

halle

She sleeps and she sleeps. She snuggles up to you in any way that she possibly can, even in the most body distorting positions, just to get next to you. And she sleeps. Such a tired baby girl, she is. If you aren’t around she will make use of a pillow, and kick and push until she gets it just the way she wants it. She looks completely ridiculous and you think to yourself, no way is she comfortable like this. Oh but she is.

The most loving animal on the planet… to the few she lets get close to her. She lives to love. It’s her favorite past time. She walks up to the side of the bed at night, pokes her nose under the covers to say, “I’m ready” and I lift the comforter for her to crawl under. She gets to the foot of the bed and we conform our bodies like a pretzel snuggled up together. Sometimes her head’s on my butt or I’ve got my foot in the side of her belly or she’s drooling on my thigh but it is my most favorite way to sleep. Cuddled up with my girl.

She was born to cuddle.

If her brother dare to interfere with her snuggles she will not tolerate it. She has two tactics for this, a) she will jump right on top of him, squishing her body into the spot and thus squeezing him out or b) she will grab a toy she has no interest in and walk right in front of him, dangling its presence in his face luring him away. A smart girl, she is.

She’s the most precious thing I’ve ever seen, my girl.

So cute! My puppy does many of the same things. She’s not quite as big (about 55 lbs) but she often decides to sit on my lap and she always comes to the bed, rests her chin on the edge and waits for me to life the duvet for her to get under the covers!
