Every time we take the kids places I get a slight fear of losing them.
I always keep them close by and watch them as closely as possible, of course, but there has been a time or two that I had a close call. I worry about her much more than I do my son who is eager to stay close to us.
There are some really great ideas to feel more safe when you are out with your kids and to help find them if they do run off. I hope that never, ever happens, but if nothing else, these ideas will help you feel a bit more at ease. (affiliates included)

My Buddy Tag is one of the coolest things I’ve seen. It works with your smart phone and alerts you if your child is out of your proximity or if they have been submerged in water (great when around a beach/pool/lake), and there is a panic button in case the child needs to signal you.

The Pocket Finder is ideal for older children who are away from you during the day. The small locator helps you watch where they are by map coordinates on your phone or computer. This is great for kids who walk to and from school!
