Ingredients

  • 1-3 tsp Nescafé Gold Espresso Powder
  • 2 oz Hot Water Not boiling
  • 1 pinch Sea Salt (optional) (tiny pinch to neutralize bitterness)

Method

  1. Step 1: Add the Nescafé Gold Espresso powder to a small espresso cup or heat-safe glass.
  2. Step 2: Pour the hot water over the powder.
  3. Step 3: Stir vigorously with a spoon or use a handheld frother for 10–15 seconds.
  4. Step 4: Continue stirring until a thick, velvety crema (foam) develops on the surface.

Notes

For a true Starbucks-strength drink, use 2-3 teaspoons of Nescafé Gold Espresso for every 2 oz of water. This creates a base that won't get watered down by ice or milk.
Roast Note: For a standard latte, use the Nescafé Gold Blonde Roast. If you are adding lots of chocolate or caramel, go with the Nescafé Gold Intense Roast to make sure the coffee flavor still shines through.
