Brady has an interesting way of talking about things, of describing them to you. Let me demonstrate:
“I want the little racing car, what was the blue one.”
“That bug is a big bug, what is a nature bug.”
“I’m looking for that toy, what is small and goes like this.”
“Remember the games what you type? Those games.”
He talks this way constantly, ending his sentence with “what is” plus the description. As I type this he just did it. It’s always just been Brady, his way of speaking, until it hit me last week that hello, he is speaking as a Jeopardy contestant. Forming his sentences in question form.
First, you give the answer and then, you ask the question.
It’s one of those silly things you know they are going to outgrow soon and you will miss. But thank goodness, because could you imagine?? “I would like the extra responsibility and income, what is a promotion.” I’m assuming that way of speaking in the corporate world would be frowned upon.
Liz is a just a mom trying to keep it real about how little she sleeps, how often she gets puked on and how much she loves them. You can find her here every day writing about real-mom moments.
