This snowy winter has been brutal on my skin. I can’t tell you how many snow days and below freezing temperatures we’ve had so far. And it’s only January!

The air has been dry in and outside of my house. Add in the fact that as I work during the day I have my space heater blowing warm air around because I’m one of those people who is always freezing.

These three tips are going to take your skin from cracked and itchy to moisturized and glowing. Take my advice and I know your skin will feel so much better!

Get a lotion that is clinically proven to keep your dry skin healed for 3 weeks.

Yes, three weeks! Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Healing moisturizes deeply at the very first application. If your skin is feeling dry and itchy, this makes you feel better immediately.

All of the Vaseline lotions have microdroplets of Vaseline Jelly to lock in moisture. I think that’s what makes the difference with these!

Get a humidifier.

No, don’t scroll past that like yea yea yea I already know. There is a high probability that your home’s humidity is super low. I didn’t realize how low ours had got until one night my daughter had a wicked nose bleed. Is your hair super staticky? Pants sticking to your leg? Those are tell tale signs you need a humidifier.

Cold, dry air, hot showers and low humidity is sucking the moisture out of your skin. Running a humidifier in your home is helpful not only to your skin, but to your nasal passages as well.

Toss out your soap.

Besides the dry air, your soap is doing the most damage to your skin. Almost all of it is super drying. Go soap shopping and find one that doesn’t have paragons or fragrances.

You are going to work hard at repairing your skin with Vaseline lotion and adding moisture into the air with your humidifier, only to suck all of that back out with your soap.

If you take these three incredibly super simple tips you aren’t going to believe how much better your skin feels this winter!

You can go grab all of these huge 20.3oz lotions at CVS for just $6.99 with your card. You can choose from Essential Healing, Advanced Care or Cocoa Butter. Or just grab them all like I did!

Your skin will thank you.
