Any time I am given information that validates my love for the day time nap I am all in.
I enjoy a little snooze in the afternoon on a rainy, wet Spring day… or on a warm and sunny Summer day… or on any day ending with Y.
Some may look at nappers as lazy or boring but I call them smart. I have the research to back me up, too.

After an afternoon snooze, they said they felt happier and more relaxed.
The short answer is probably. NASA did a study that said just a quick 26 minute nap could improve job performance by a third.
In the Mattress Nerd study, 55% of all respondents said they’d be willing to take a pay cut if they could nap at their job!
Thirty-two percent said they would live with their parents for the rest of their life in exchange for daily naps.
The key to most of the sleep research is to have short, middle of the day naps to reset. Anything longer than about half an hour just leads to grogginess.
Who thinks employers should start offering nap time or even these super cool sleep pods?
