The answer to those of you who guessed which baby girl name is my husbands favorite…
Paityn Faith
I should really just say Paityn because Faith is not confirmed. For those of you wondering why we like this spelling and think that I’m one of those crazy hippies who wants to take a plain name like Chloe and transform it into Khloei (I really read someone asking if that was okay) let me say this…
Peyton is probably the most commonly used way to spell it along with Payton. I don’t mind those spellings at all, however, Peyton is a unisex name. If I am going to send my daughter out into the world and give her a name that 5 boys in her school may have, the least I can do is make her version of it more feminine. I would feel awful if my baby girl came home from kindergarten crying, asking me why I gave her a boy name. She still may say that but I can then explain to her that there is a boy version and a girl version.
I have older twin brothers, one of them was named after my father, Mark, and the other after my grandfather, Leslie. You can guess how much he just adores his name. He will only go by Les and would rather not ever been known as Leslie. Leslie is a girls name. So that’s my story and I’m sticking to it, and Paityn is just flat out pretty.

It’s a pretty name. 🙂 And not overly crazy. I was at a mommy and me thing today and half of the kids’ names were so out there.
