Love and Marriage

And A Baby Carriage.

My Top 8 Best Books for Baby

babies

I LOVE children’s books.  Like, over the top in love with them.  I even thought for a while that I could write a few myself, but that never happened.  I’m no Eric Carle.  I am however, a very mushy person when it comes to my kids.  I love books that have a message or a meaning and conveys all the things that I can’t put into words.

These are my most favorite best books for baby.  You should have each and every one (with the possible exception of the big brother book) in your library.

I Love You Because You’re You – Love this one so much.  This is about unconditional love and affirms to your kids how much you love them when they are good/bad, happy/sad, shy/hyper, no matter what.

I’m A Big Brother – We got this book for Brady and gave it to him at the hospital when Paityn was born.  It is a wonderful book for an older child getting a new sibling (they make it for a sister, too).  It talks about all the great things about being a big brother and how they can help, but also about how special they still are to their mommy and daddy and that no one can ever replace them.

I Love You Through and Through – “I love your top side, your bottom side, your silly side, your mad side.”   Another awesome book about how unconditional our love is.

Someday – TEAR JERKER.  I don’t suggest that you buy this and read it during your first trimester of pregnancy.  This was the very first book I ever bought Brady and it remains one of my most favorites.  “One day I counted your fingers and kissed each one.”

If I Could Keep You Little – I often wish I could keep my babies tiny forever.  This book talks about all the things we would miss out on if we did just that.

Love You Forever – This book isn’t one of the world’s most loved children’s books for nothing.  Such a sweet, sweet story and is another tear jerker.  It’s true, no matter how old or how big they get, they are always our babies.

You Are My Wish Come True – So many of us pray for a child for quite a while before we ever get one.  This book talks about how much we wanted them and loved them long before they were ever born.

Mama’s Right Here – This may be my absolute favorite.  This talks about how no matter what happens in life that mama is always right here.  “Wherever you go, whatever you do, Mama’s love will be with you.”  This is another Liza Baker book and really, you can’t go wrong with anything she writes.

Do you have any of these in your library?  What is your favorite book for baby?

Choosing the right resources when you’re preparing for a big life step, like having a baby, can make all the difference! I’ve been there myself—digging through so many options and trying to find what really helps. It actually reminded me of when I needed support with some major nursing papers. I stumbled upon nursing school homework which was a huge relief because they really got the specifics of what I needed. Having a go-to place like that can make everything less overwhelming, whether it’s for school or getting ready for a baby. It’s all about finding support you can trust!
