Whoa, whoa, whoa. Wait a minute. Only two months left until you are a one year old? Two months until you aren’t technically a baby anymore? That can’t be right. These ten months have gone by in a flash – way faster than time went with your brother. I’m going to say this until the day I die I’m sure, but I feel like I just had you. Like we were JUST in the hospital yesterday. How you are ten months old already, I don’t know.
You are still doing your goofy belly crawl all around the house and every day you get a little faster. We go to the bathroom, turn around and oop! there you are! You get so proud of yourself, too. Hey, I would be too, you’re rockin’ it, girlfriend.
You love people and are slowly becoming less shy, although you do still like to bury your head in my chest sometimes in embarrassment. You do still get quite upset when someone leaves you alone in a room which is something I think you’ll grow out of soon.
You are my sweet baby girl most of the time, with your wide, gummy grin and you’re blazing blue eyes. But you also can be quite a diva. A real princess. You want what you want when you want it and can throw a mean fit. You hold your breath, make two little fists and bear down and grunt. You’re biggest pet peeve is not shoveling food into your mouth quick enough. You are a girl that loves to eat. Bananas are your fav at the moment.
I love this stage you are in right now, although you’re sleep habits just took a turn for the worse and I’m struggling with how to adjust them. Besides that you are lots of fun to be around and your smile is contagious. You love to explore new things and watch Brady and Matthew play. Soon you will be right in the middle of it playing with bad guys. I wonder sometimes if you will be interested in girly toys or if you will just go right for the Avenger figurines since those type of toys are always surrounding you. We shall see. There is so much still to learn about you.
We love you so, so very much, sweet girl.
Love, Mama
Liz is a just a mom trying to keep it real about how little she sleeps, how often she gets puked on and how much she loves them. You can find her here every day writing about real-mom moments.

Man oh man, does she look like someone who is not you. 🙂 It’s so funny to me that Brady is your clone and she doesn’t have anything even sort of resembling her Momma. <3

Happy 10 months, cutie!
