Love and Marriage

And A Baby Carriage.

And I’m free!

bed rest

A week ago today I was released from the hospital!  Why have I not told you sooner?  How could I possibly not mention this huge news?  Well, the first day was busy, the second I landed back in the ER, and then the following few days I spent snuggling my son and feeling large amounts of guilt for even thinking about picking up this laptop instead of spending time with him.

So back tracking to last Tuesday, the day I was so anxious for, I woke up and waited for the dr to come in and tell me the news.  He checked my cervix and I starred at his face the whole time looking for a hint to what he was feeling.  He pulled his blue glove off and said 1cm and 70%.  Same as two weeks ago.  Which meant?  I could do bed rest at home!!!  I just can’t explain the joy.

I’ve been resting at home and spending time with my boys.  And yea, the day after I got home?  Less than 24 hours later?  I had to make a trip to the local ER.  I had another tachycardia episode and had to get an IV and some meds to slow my heart rate back to normal.  I am more than ready to get that issue fixed.

Today I am 32 weeks I’m hoping and praying to get to stay home and relax until 36, heck maybe even longer.  I have a growth scan tomorrow and we’ll see how much baby girl is weighing.  I’m pretty nervous about going in and being anywhere near a perinatologist who could admit me back into the hospital.  I’m praying that everything looks great and they look at baby girl and send me on my way.  As usual, I’m praying hard for a good outcome.
