Hello Love and Marriage followers! Today I’m sharing a super easy 2 step project that I made for my kitchen table. Seriously this is the most simple project ever! Anyone can do it, even if your not a big crafter.

When I originally thought of doing this project I just planned on doing green balls. Then when I got to the store, to my surprise they had beautiful yellows ones too! Perfect for a Spring/Summer table setting.

Ok now on to this easy DIY, you’re going to need to following supplies:

Supplies

  • Foam Balls
  • Split Peas
  • Hot Glue

Getting Started

I already had the foam balls on hand, so I just needed to run out and grab some split peas.  Like I said before, I was able to find some pretty yellows ones as well!! YAY! Oh and don’t forget to get a pack of glue sticks for this project. Your going to need a lot.

Time to get crafting!

Step 1 – Prep Your Materials/Quick Tip

For this project, I put my foam ball on top of a mason jar. It made it so much easier to add my split peas.

Step 2 – Add Your Split Peas

Time to add the split peas!!

I added small amounts of hot glue to sections of the foam ball, then poured my split peas on top.  I just worked my way around the ball until it was completely covered. See super easy!

The only hard part was trying not to get burned! ;-P

Finishing Touches

Finally I went around the balls and filled in any bare spots that still needed peas.

So you can see this was a super easy project!! My FAVORITE kind! Plus the split peas are really inexpensive too.

This just really brightens up my table for the Summer. I’m so glad I decided to make them, next I want to make two split pea wreaths to go on the french doors behind the table! Stay tuned for the project!!
