I have officially begun my holiday baking! With a few awesome festive items I picked up at Target I am all set.
First off, I made Santa’s Snack Mix with one of the recipes from the back of the new Glad Holiday Storage containers. Glad storage has exclusive holiday prints for containers and wraps (only available at Target) that’s perfect for storing your holiday baked goods or gifting them to friends, family, and co-workers!
Right in the holiday section, there is an enormous end cap full of new festive M&M’S®. I grabbed a bag of white chocolate peppermint (also only at Target) and a handful of recipe cards that were displayed so I had a few new ideas.
I love chocolate and peppermint together so it was a no-brainer. The Santa’s Snack Mix recipe was easy to make and really pretty. With the recipes advice I used holiday shaped pretzels that gave it such a fun extra touch.
To make these fun brownies, I used my everyday brownie box mix. If you make yours from scratch, that works, too.
I followed the box directions and then added in two handfuls of the white chocolate peppermint M&Ms.
After they were done baking and relatively cooled, I added some sprinkles. I used a Christmas tree cookie cutter on top and slightly pressed down. While the cookie cutter was in tact, I sprinkled green sugar inside. Then I added a little red sugar all over.
It made for a fun festive touch to my normal everyday brownies. And it was totally easy!
