As much as I’m dreading the fall (I love warm weather!) I admit I’m a little excited for Halloween. I love the colors and trick-or-treating with two little ones is SO much fun.
We recently did a little Halloween bathroom makeover that we’re going to keep around for a little while. It’s so fun to make your bathroom festive for the holidays and it’s actually pretty easy. So many of your normal bathroom accessories can transition between seasons.
Halloween Bathroom Makeover
All you have to do for your Halloween makeover is grab a few of your favorite Halloween accessories throughout. I love the sparkly spider and our hand-painted skull (totally fun and easy DIY’s!) A couple of plastic pumpkins with added glitter makes a fun accessory, too. Then, add a few Halloween colored towels to make it pop.
At Target I grabbed these bright purple towels that I adore. They are totally perfect for a Halloween bathroom but can be used for all sorts of other themes and seasons. I’m loving the brown and gold tones matched with a little bit of purple.
Giving your bathroom (or any room in your home) a little seasonal makeover doesn’t have to be expensive. The best thing to do is look around your house for things you already have that can be used in different ways. Grab one or two new things to pull it all together and you are all set!

Transform your bathroom into a spooky Halloween haven with eerie lighting, fake cobwebs, and themed shower curtains. Add a fog machine for a chilling effect and swap regular soap for blood-red liquid soap. A skeleton plumber prop by the sink can enhance the fright factor. Don’t forget creepy sound effects!
