It’s football season, have you heard? Although I’m really sad to see summer leave us, there is something to be said for the beauty of fall days. Football season means chili in the crock pot and load cheers (and cries) coming from my living room.
Around our neck of the woods, everyone is a KC Chiefs fan. My husband lives and breathes all things Chiefs and is loaded up with gear: t-shirts, hats, jerseys, coozies, coasters… you name it. Since he is all set for game day, I thought this year I would come up with a fun outfit for myself.
In all honesty, I probably won’t pay a bit of attention to these games going on every Sunday, but I do love supporting our city and being a part of all the fun!
KC Chiefs Game Day Style
Every year fall means riding boots and fleeced-lined tights. Aren’t they so comfy? I picked up a super adorable KC Chiefs tunic from the NFL Shop that I thought would go with a ton of different outfits. For this one, I put it with bright red tights – so festive!! Plus, a pair of brown riding boots. I also tried this with some black canvas flats and that worked great, too.
To top it of I bought a package of KC Chiefs headbands that are adorable. All I missed was a coat of red nail polish! Next time I’ll have to add that.
