Almost two years ago we remodeled the majority of our home. The biggest project was taking out our old, light colored hardwood and replacing them with the floors of my dreams: a dark brown, hand-scraped wood.
I absolutely adore these floors.
If the first thing you’re thinking is, “I bet those are a pain to keep clean..” you’d be correct. In fact, all hardwood is difficult to keep clean. Especially in the winter.
My dogs are tracking in dirt and and all sorts of mud from the snowy ground and every time we come in and take our boots off we leave a mess.
Since this has been installed we’ve stuck with one brand of hardwood floor cleaner and we haven’t budged. It is the easiest way to keep them clean. The brand is Bona and they now have a PowerPlus cleaner that protects against against debris, excess moisture and humidity changes.
Bona Hardwood Floor Deep Cleaner
When you have young kids you know that one of the things you need to keep the MOST clean is your floors. Why? Because they are always on the floor…
They play on the floor, lay on the floor and yeah, sometimes they even eat off the floor. (Hello, five second rule.)
The deep cleaner loosens dirt to make it easy to clean (aka no scrubbing).
Then, the microfiber pad has patent pending PowerLoop technology that breaks apart dirt and wipes it away. It quickly wipes up the ice melt and dirt we’re dragging in on our shoes this winter.
When you put those two together they work 70% better than other hardwood floor products!
This system makes my job easier and keeps my floors cleaner. This is a #momwin all day.
And one of the most important things: keeping my hardwood in good shape for as long as possible. I don’t want to install the floors of my Pinterest dreams only to ruin them over time by using harsh products.
Take a look here to see where you can find Bona products in your area! And find Bona on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.

How do I clean the pad after using Bona on my floors? Detergent doesn’t clean the pad.

Really you do a good post. I found it very effective. I also share with you the information that commercial flooring Raleigh is a popular choice among businesses looking for a durable and long-lasting flooring option. The epoxy coating provides a seamless and smooth surface that is resistant to cracks, stains, and abrasions. This makes it an ideal choice for high-traffic areas such as warehouses, factories, hospitals, and retail stores.
