Love and Marriage

And A Baby Carriage.

Gorgeous New Back Patio

home

For the last couple of years we have had an occasional leaky basement, and when I say “leaky” I mean more like “floody”. We’ve been lucky enough to have it stopped for the time being but we really needed to fix the problem eventually, which was our back patio. I grabbed my camera for before pictures after they had already ripped the step and the corner of the patio up but this is basically what it was before.

A family friend and had to rip it all out. Fresh start.

Then we hired a concrete company to pour this awesome new back patio:

They gave it a great design, and stamped the edges to give it a border. Then they sprayed an antiquing on the border to darken it.

Here’s a closer look at the stamp design:

Now that it is all done we have lots of landscaping around it to do and more accessorizing! I’m so glad that we can now hopefully rest easy knowing our basement won’t flood.
