This preschool snowman craft is perfect for little crafters! We have definitely had snow a time or two this year in Kansas, but building a real snowman is difficult. Plus, it seems like you have to have the perfect type of snow to get it to compact properly.
If your kiddos have the itch to build themselves a snowman, here’s one way to do it without going outside!
Easy Preschool Snowman Craft
The first thing you need to do is create the dough to build the snowman. It’s incredibly easy with this two ingredient recipe from Kids Activities Blog. It smells really good, too.
Then of course, give him a face and accessories. You can use anything you’d like to decorate your snowman, but here is what we did:
- Eyes: Blue beads (googley eyes is another good option)
- Nose: Orange bead
- Mouth: Drew on dots with a sharpie
- Scarf: Pipe cleaner
- Hat: A lid from a red sugar shaker
That’s it! Your kids will love making a miniature snowman and staying warm inside while doing it!
