I can’t believe how many of us are brave enough to show our school pictures. It’s damn near impossible to have 12 years of good pictures – scratch that, to even have half of them turn out good. I will admit that many of my awful pictures aren’t going to be featured here today. Obviously when I saw them I through them all in the trash can. Seriously. I did that several times.
Here I am in kindergarten, looking all sweet and cuddly, long before we had that cowlick under control. This shows you just how long it took to perfect the art of Taming The Cowlick judging by the fact that my mom had five years of experience under her belt and it was still completely disobedient.
Here is my 5th grade picture. There were several years of horror in between these two that we will not discuss.
And then I got a spiral perm. And braces. The combination is this monstrosity…
