Saturday and Tuesday, Guy and I had the pleasure of having a little guest over, Matthew. It has been fun having him around and he really fills the house with a different feeling. There are trucks scattered on the floor, a trail of cracker crumbs, and little shoes by the front door and I love it.
It is never too early to learn how to talk on the phone and drive at the same time.
I’m glad he smiled for a picture here because last time he was over, we were outside and it was dark, and when the camera flash would go off he would quickly put his hands over his eyes and scream at me.
The art of getting into stuff, being perfected here by Matthew.
Matthew and the dogs get along awesome, even Halle enjoys him. But this last visit he has taken his love for dogs and confused it a bit with his love of horses. He can say “dog” and “horsey” very clearly and its obvious that he knows the difference, but he hasn’t quite grasped all their differences. He started walking over to the dogs and lifting up his leg, or standing next to them and jumping, and after a while we realized what it is he was trying to do; he was trying to ride the dogs. Then the funniest part, he would grab his blanket and lay it over their back before trying to jump, like he was placing a saddle on them. Its fun to watch them think and learn and mimic things they’ve seen.

That tickles me – trying to ride the babies. LOL!
He really looks a lot like his Uncle.
